Luke the Adorable! This Great Pyrenese,
love of my life, makes my home the best
test for cleaning and pet care products.
This is Dusty Rhodes our wonderful Mini Aussi, He can catch things when tossed in mid air. If, you don't throw his toys for him, he just does it himself. Or he will roll his ball down the stairs. So cute!
Now I've got your attention! Meet Bambi who now lives in the wild . We rescued him from the Snake River when he was only hours old. My son pulled him out of the river while he was fishing on an island in the middle of the Snake River. He had no strength. We put him in a small Rubbermaid tub and I feed him a bottle of diluted pancake batter, as I had forgotten to pack the milk for our trip. The bottle was fashioned out of a water bottle, finger from a rubber glove and a rubber band from the newspaper. It worked great. Still very week he lay limp in the bottom of the tub. Later that eventing we noticed him standing an peaking out for the top of the tub. Ma! Ma! That is when we noticed his front leg dangling to and fro. He had a broken leg. My husband made a splint out of door shims and duct tape. He healed beautifully. When we took it off after a month he ripped across the pasture "like a deer." Shown here with Dane one Summer. He thought he was a dog then.
In February of 2010 we welcomed Lexy to the family. Our new little Yorkie
has been a sweet little bandage for my broken heart, at the loss of Luke our
beautiful Great Pyrenese. Lexy has a great disposition and loving manner. She doesn't shed!!!
Later I'll add the bunnies, Banties, and the fishbowls to the site. We are working on healthy snacks for pets. Recipes welcomed, email to food@gooroosmarketplace.com.
Please stop by again. Thank you for your interest!
